Welcome to Heron’s Lodge Guide Centre

Heron’s Lodge Guide Centre is situated in a quiet area adjoining one of Milton Keynes many parks and lakes. It is easily accessible by road and rail and is close to the centre of Milton Keynes.

Heron’s Lodge is owned and managed by the three local Girlguiding Divisions: Milton Keynes, Ouse Valley and Bletchley. There is a large car park and an open grassed area round the building with a stream running through.

The building is set up for Girlguiding, Scouting and community residentials, and the grounds are suitable for camping. 5G Wifi is available on request.

The building consists of 2 large halls and 3 ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor, which is fully accessible.

The hall furthest from the kitchen has a storeroom with 24 mattresses that can be laid out on the floor for sleeping, but this hall can accommodate more people if using roll mats or camp beds (not provided).

The ensuite rooms sleep the following:

Bedroom 1 – 3 people (one bunkbed and one single bed)

Bedroom 2 – 3 people in single beds

Bedroom 3 – 2 people in single beds

All ensuite washrooms consist of a shower, basin and WC. There is also an accessible shower room off the main corridor
